FAQs

What are in your melts?

My melts are 100% plant based, vegan friendly, cruelty free & plastic free. I use only responsibly sourced eco coconut wax and high quality fragrance oils - I keep my wax melts 'naked' meaning that I do not dye my wax or add any mica or glitters - this ensures you get the absolute cleanest burn possible throughout your home.

How can I use a wax melt?

You are able to use tea light or electric wax burners. I recommend a tea light as the wax bowl gets hotter which means a better scent throw. All my melts can be easily snapped or cut to size, place in the top bowl and light your burner - enjoy the scent unfold throughout your home as the wax melts.

Can I use any tea lights for my burner?

No, I highly advise you use 4 hour unscented tea lights in your burner. This is because fragranced tea lights reach a much higher temperature when burning resulting in a burner that is too hot and potentially dangerous. You should use only 4 hour for this reason too, a longer burning tea light will result in your burner getting too hot.

How do I replace my wax melt?

There are a few ways to replace your wax. But my personal favourite and one I would recommend is lighting a tea light for 10-30 seconds in your burner and your wax will slide right out.

Are your wax melts safe to be used around pets and babies?

Yes - I do recommend that you keep out of reach of both pets and babies as these should not be ingested and the temperature it can reach when melting.

When will my order be dispatched?

I aim to dispatch all orders within 4 working days, this varies during busy periods.

Can I collect my order?

Yes - you can select collection on checkout, you will receive an email once your order is ready.

How will you send my order?

All orders for postage are send via Royal Mail signed for. All packages will require a signature on delivery. If you are local to Jersey all orders will be hand-delivered.

What if I am unhappy with my order?

If there is a problem with your order, please do not use anything and contact me straight away. I can accept unused products back for a full refund. Sadly, if your item is used I can not accept this back.

What if I can't find the scent I am looking for?

Not a problem, use my contact me form and I will see if I can source it for you. A lot of my scents are requested by customers.

Are you CLP compliant?

Yes, and fully insured.

What is your refill, recycle, reuse scheme?

If you are local to Jersey and purchase from me, I refill your packs at a lower cost. I also take back used wax to use for testing new moulds etc - basically the less that goes in the bin from my company, the better! Savings for you and saving the planet. Unfortunately if you are not a Jersey resident I am unable to refill or accept used items back as I am yet to set up a freepost. This is something I am working on for the future.

If I don't take part in your scheme, can I still recycle your packaging?

Yes, all my packaging is recyclable.

What does individually wrapped in accordance with CLP regulations mean?

As you may or not be aware all wax melts that are given or sold to a customer/family etc must be CLP compliant. This is a requirement by law.

This is labelling on your wax melts, showing the ingredients in. You must have this information if there was an allergic reaction to the wax melt (yes sometimes pets eat them or an accident happens)

All CLP's are different as ingredients in each fragrance oil is different.

In any of my mixed scented boxes - each scent is wrapped with its CLP stuck to it to ensure compliance of the law.

Why is there smoke coming from my wax melt?

The "smoke" you may sometimes coming from your wax melt isn't smoke - this is the fragrance releasing in your home.

How do I use my Scented Salts?

You can use it 2 ways. Exactly like a wax melt, the heat will release the fragrance from the salts. They will discolour as the fragrance evaporates. You can then place them in the bin, once cooled of course.
Or you can place a few teaspoons in an organza bag and place in your car, drawers, shoe cupboard for a subtle fragrance release over 18 months.

What are your scented salts made from?

100% locally sourced non-food grade Jersey Sea Salt & the same fragrance oils as my wax melts.

What can I spray your room spray on?

Use as a room spray in the air or on fabrics, Always test in a discreet place before you spray liberally. But my customers & I have used them on sofas, beds, cars, clothing & carpets so far with no problem.

If you have any additional questions not covered in the above, please do not hesitate to contact me - Thank you.
